iDorm Ambient Intelligent Agent

This video shows a brief demonstration of the ambient intelligent agent I designed as part of my PhD work. The demonstration shows the agent adapting to a user’s comfort preferences in the intelligent Dormitory (iDorm) facility at the University of Essex. The agent uses a technique called: Adaptive Online Fuzzy Inference System (AOFIS) to learn and adapt to the changing preferences of a user. My research is documented in the following papers:
